In the Event of a Claim:
COPA AIRLINES' liability for damage to or loss of merchandise is limited to the declared value of the transported merchandise, which will be agreed upon on each occasion. No agent, employee, or representative of COPA AIRLINES or the carrier is authorized to modify, alter, or waive any of the provisions of these terms and conditions.

COPA AIRLINES shall not be responsible for merchandise that is incorrectly addressed to our warehouse in Miami, Florida. Likewise, COPA AIRLINES shall not be responsible if the customer provides incorrect information regarding the destination address, and the customer shall bear any additional costs resulting from this error.
The purchase of products that the customer directs to the mailbox shall be the customer's sole and direct responsibility. Therefore, COPA AIRLINES shall not be responsible for any financial obligations arising from payment for the products, packaging, insurance, or transportation thereof from the supplier's facilities to the assigned mailbox.
If the merchandise arrives at the mailbox without a commercial invoice, the customer agrees to provide a declaration of value for the shipment.
The customer shall also be responsible for additional customs expenses, taxes, and other additional charges, such as reprocessing fees, when the value declared on the invoice or declaration of value is lower than the value estimated by the authorities and this results in a proposed adjustment to the invoice value or a change in the customs clearance procedure.
COPA AIRLINES reserves the right to refuse admission to its customers and may cancel accounts that are abandoned, inactive, have a history of fraud, are used for illegal activities, are used by the customer to insult or mistreat employees or the company, contain false information, are opened for a purpose other than the contracted logistics services, or belong to customers with outstanding debts.

Terms and Conditions for the accrual of ConnectMiles miles with the Copa Post service.
These Terms and Conditions govern exclusively the use and redemption of ConnectMiles miles to access eligible Copa Post services. Accordingly, they do not govern the accrual of miles or any other benefit other than those expressly contemplated in this document.
Participation in this benefit implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, of the General Terms and Conditions of the ConnectMiles Program, and of the specific conditions applicable to the redemption of ConnectMiles miles in the Copa Post service.
1. Participation in the benefit
Copa Post customers who are enrolled in the ConnectMiles Program and who correctly register their ConnectMiles number in their Copa Post account may participate.
Enrollment in ConnectMiles is free and must be completed through the Program's official channels. To receive miles, the customer must keep both their Copa Post account and their ConnectMiles account active at the time the accrual is processed.
Participation is individual. The customer may not accrue miles on behalf of third parties, except in cases expressly permitted by ConnectMiles.
2. Registering the ConnectMiles number
The customer is responsible for correctly entering their ConnectMiles number through the channels enabled by Copa Post.
The first name, last name, and other details registered with Copa Post must match the data on the beneficiary's ConnectMiles account. Copa Post and ConnectMiles may request additional information to validate the customer's identity and ownership of the account.
The ConnectMiles number must be registered in the Copa Post account before the shipment is invoiced and paid for.
Copa Post will not be responsible for the failure to accrue miles when:
Each shipment may generate miles for only one ConnectMiles account.
3. Accrual of miles
ConnectMiles members will accrue one (1) mile for every US dollar (USD 1.00) of freight invoiced and paid for eligible Copa Post services.
Miles will be calculated on the net freight value, after applying discounts, credits, returns, or adjustments.
When the eligible amount includes fractions of a dollar, the number of miles will be rounded up to the next whole number. For example, an eligible freight charge of USD 15.25 will generate sixteen (16) ConnectMiles miles.
The accrual rate may be modified in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The applicable rate will be the one in effect on the shipment's invoice date.
4. Charges that accrue miles
Accrual will apply solely to the amount corresponding to freight.
5. Eligible shipments
Shipments processed under the service types authorized for Copa Post that are duly invoiced and paid for will be eligible.
The creation of a waybill or the receipt of a package at Copa Post facilities does not, by itself, generate the right to receive miles.
6. Accrual of miles (crediting)
Miles will be processed once the shipment has been correctly invoiced and paid in full, and provided the customer has a valid ConnectMiles number registered.
Crediting may take up to twenty-one (21) business days, counted from the date on which the shipment payment is correctly applied in the system.
For these purposes, Saturdays, Sundays, and official holidays of the Republic of Panama will not be considered business days.
Credited miles may be viewed in the member's account statement through ConnectMiles' official channels.
Miles accrued through Copa Post will be redeemable miles and will not be considered qualifying miles or qualifying segments for achieving or maintaining PreferMember status, unless ConnectMiles expressly indicates otherwise.
7. Permanent benefit for the first shipment
Every new eligible Copa Post customer will receive two hundred fifty (250) ConnectMiles miles for their first shipment, provided that:
The two hundred fifty (250) miles will be awarded only once per customer and ConnectMiles account. This is a permanent benefit, subject to the term of Copa Post's mileage accrual program and to these Terms and Conditions.
Miles awarded for the first shipment are not transferable or redeemable for cash and will be subject to the general conditions of the ConnectMiles Program.
This benefit may be accrued together with the miles generated by the eligible freight value of the first shipment, unless Copa Post or ConnectMiles expressly indicate otherwise.
8. Adjustments, cancellations, and refunds
When a shipment or invoice is cancelled, voided, refunded, or adjusted, Copa Post and ConnectMiles reserve the right to withdraw, reverse, or modify the miles previously credited to the participant.
In the event of a partial refund, the number of miles equivalent to the refunded amount will be deducted. In the event of a full refund, all miles credited as a result of the corresponding transaction will be reversed.
Likewise, Copa Post and ConnectMiles may correct, adjust, or reverse any mileage accrual made in error, due to duplication, system failures, incorrect information, or any other circumstance that resulted in an improper accrual.
9. Misuse or fraud
Copa Post and ConnectMiles reserve the right to review transactions and accounts when there are indications of:
When an irregularity is detected, Copa Post and ConnectMiles may suspend the accrual, withdraw the miles awarded, cancel the customer's participation in the benefit, or suspend their account, without prejudice to other applicable measures.
10. Nature and use of miles
ConnectMiles miles have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Their use, transfer, donation, purchase, validity, expiration, and redemption will be governed by the Terms and Conditions of the ConnectMiles Program in effect at the time of the transaction.
The accrual of miles through Copa Post does not constitute a discount on the service and does not replace the customer's payment obligations.
Miles are not the property of the member and may not be subject to financial claims, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
11. Validity of miles
The validity and expiration of miles accrued through Copa Post will be subject to the rules in effect under the ConnectMiles Program.
Copa Post will not be responsible for the expiration of miles caused by inactivity of the ConnectMiles account or by failure to comply with the Program's established conditions.
12. Modifications to the benefit
Copa Post and ConnectMiles reserve the right to modify, limit, suspend, or terminate this benefit, in accordance with applicable law.
Modifications may include:
Modifications will be communicated through official channels and will take effect on the date indicated. Continued use of the benefit after it takes effect will constitute acceptance of the new conditions, where permitted by applicable law.
13. Termination of participation
Copa Post and ConnectMiles may suspend or cancel a customer's participation when the customer:
Termination of participation will not exempt the customer from paying outstanding amounts nor prevent the withdrawal of miles credited incorrectly.
14. Liability
Copa Post will not be responsible for delays, errors, or failures in accrual caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer, temporary system failures, validation processes, suspension, cancellation, or inactivity of the ConnectMiles account, or by any circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
In the event of a discrepancy relating to accrual, the invoicing, payment, and crediting records maintained by Copa Post and ConnectMiles will prevail, without prejudice to any documentation the customer may submit to support their claim.
15. Acceptance of the terms
By registering their ConnectMiles number with Copa Post or requesting the accrual of miles, the customer declares that they know and accept:
For inquiries or requests related to the accrual of miles, the customer may contact Copa Post through its official channels.
